These chef coats are quite well designed. They are stain resistant, and wash well. Our first thought was that they were very heavy, but they maintain their shape and integrity quite well washing after washing. They only fault I can find is the buttons. The buttons are not attached well at all. They wash off in the washer. I have had to re-attach 90% of the buttons on my coats, of which I have 4. I am very disappointed in the buttons. First you might see a loose thread on the button, if you attempt to pull, or wrap the thread, it just simply unravels and the button falls off. Unfortunately, there are no additional buttons with the coats, so if one is lost, you must replace all 10 buttons to match. For such a well made chef's coat, this is a definite negative.
